Mercy Hostel in Chiang Rai is centrally located, just 600 meters from both the Night Market and the Bus Stop, making it super convenient for exploring the city. Their staff is one of the friendliest. Also if you wish to take a slow boat to Laos, you can book from here at 51$ (1700 bhat), this was the price in May 2024. They also have a pool and the common area is really good to meet new fellow travellers

Cafe Recommendations

Lalitta Cafe in Chiang Rai is truly the cafe of my dreams. As someone who loves orchids and grows them at home, walking into this cafe felt like stepping into paradise. It’s definitely inspired me to grow even more!

After visiting, I honestly can’t imagine finding another cafe that’s more interesting. Located in Chiang Rai, northern Thailand, they charge a 60 baht entry fee, but you can use it as a coupon for food or drinks. And the best part? The food and drinks were just as amazing as the place itself!
